3 or 4 player coop shoot 'em ups?

So I'm entertaining a couple of OcUK'ers this weekend. Tradition usually follows a healthy (or unhealthy) feast of Fajitas, served in biblical proportions, followed by a grind-a-thon of some arcade shooting.

The games that have currently graced our evenings have been such finery as Zombie Apocalypse 1 & 2, and Warhammer 40k Kill Team. Both on the 360, but I do have a PS3 as well which I'll dust the cobwebs off.

Can anyone suggest anything worthy of a few hours grinding? Shooting hordes of bad guys is always a bonus, challenging or brainless.

Bomberman arcade game is a good one

Halo split screen Slayer? (most FPS stop at 2 players but Halo does 4)

Geometry Wars 2 Pacifism 4 player is some of the most fun I've had with my pants on.

Castle Crashers would be a good suggestion if it wasn't such an incredibly long grind!!!

X-men looks terrible!

Was more after games like Alien Swarm / Dead Nation, top down shoot 'em ups, but I'm guessing they're few and far between

Yeah it is, but that's the sort of game I was after. Even Kill Team was brilliant fun if not a bit easy!
