You could format that Mac mini and stick either Linux or Windows 7/8 on it? I don't mean Bootcamp you can quite literally format the HDD of any Mac and treat it the same as a PC if you wanted.

I don't know if that counts as a "use" though :p

On the topic of Mac Minis

I'm clearing out and found my old G4 1.25ghz Mac Mini. I think it has a superdrive, and i recall upgrading it to 512MB of RAM!

What can I use this for guys? :) (typing from a trusty 2007 Macbook 2.2, 4gb ram, original 120gb sata)

I have sky hd+ in the main room and also an xbox w/ sky player iplayer etc in the bedroom so not sure HTPC is required.

iTunes server maybe? Hollow it out and have it as a biscuit tin? :p You might start a trend like that guy did who converted the old G3 iMacs into aquariums lol
