Ahh, my local coastline. Was expecting something of the cliffs or light houses in the area but this is a beautiful capture, great colours and well exposed.
Compositional I would have move the sun slight over into the corner and perhaps reduce the sky a little

Some of my recent snaps (sorry for thread hi jack!)

^^^Very nice.

The light house shot is a classic but very scenic place, love watching the sea lions under neath while the waves roll in. My shot was taken in mid-winter in the early aftrnoon so has a nice warm sun. For the last year or so the light house has been covered in scaffolding so I haven't done any better yet.

Did you go the sea lion cave? very cool

I've been trying to get a good photo form the Cape Perpetua viewpoint (highest point on the Oregon coast), http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/p/m/2ec15/

But it has always been very foggy or hazy.

We were considering going, but it had mixed reviews on Yelp. We rented a beach villa, and did manage to see a whale breaching the water surface a few times. Reminds me of seeing dolphins jumping out of the water in Malibu while driving on the PCH.
