Isn't going to be the case for every game situation with every gaming set up.

they can,that is my ivybridge

just shows that the test they used was using idle voltage and full clock speed to try and fool you

Ivy can't do 5GHZ consistently, even de-lidded.

I hope the hazwell dosnt turn into another hot running Prescott. at the time the northwood still beat it for raw speed.


haswell looks like an intel IGP catch up chip where it might just produce more heat per clock over ivy or SB

will have to wait and see i guess, thing is will the new chipset offer any gains over Z77? The boards look good but again its a case of wait and see the performance gains.

so far any upgrade path to me looks like a hex core!

Ye 90c at 4.5 thats not impressive at all. We will have ivy all over again when no matter what cooler you got it still gona fry pass given vcore :/

^^ that's the whole point if you read a few pages back, 5ghz haswell claim on 0.9v

mine was idle volts and full clocks shown

im at 4.8ghz 1.38v

Can anyone tell from the motherboard screenshots if existing cpu cooler retaining systems will work on Haswell motherboards, or will i need to wait for phantek to release an adapter kit?
