GTX 460 vs 6870?

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can please advise me on which is the more powerful of these two cards?

ATI 6870 1gb GFX card

VS
MSI GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 768MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card


Am I right in thinking the 6870 is better? if so and you had to give a rough overall percentage what sort of difference would you say roughly - 10%? for gaming at 1680x1050?

The reason I'm asking is my friend has one he is not using and I was considering trying to part exchange with him

The 6870 is faster and wins more games.

I would guesstimate at around 15-20% faster on average.
