Hi,

I have a problem with the laptop. The sound is not working for the first 30 minutes and after that I need to restart it and the sound is working until I switch the laptop off for the night.

I have tried new drivers, new system and the problem still there. I think that the sound chip or headphones port can be damage (sometimes I'm getting the message that the headphone are connected/disconnected every second for several minutes).

I was thinking of buying external usb sound card but I'm not sure if I can still use laptops internal speakers with it as I don't want use external speakers. Is anyone have any experience with usb sound cards ad can confirm you can use it with internal speakers?

Tried it. I won't get the message but the sound is not working for the first 30 minutes and sometimes I'm getting crankling sounds. My guess is that the laptop needs to heat up a bit before and than working fine all the time.
