I'm happy with my 250GB Samsung 840, cracking value, especially with the cashback deals. Didn't see much point in going for the Pro version, we've blown way past any storage bottlenecks in consumer uses for a couple of SSD generations now.

My 250GB 840 cost me £110 without any cashback deal.

Yeah, the slower write speed and cheap NAND is a real pain.
