Headset for gaming but mainly music!

Currently, I have a set of Sennheiser Amperior on ear headphones, and yes they are incredible for music, but they are not hugely comfortable for sustained periods of time and I have a £3 mic which all my friends always complain about during Skype calls.

So I need a headset which has a good mic quality, is semi good for gaming but it's main focus is for music playback, also should I get a sound card to enhance the sound quality of everything being produced by my PC?

Budget = ~£100

As good as onboard sound can be on the current gen motherboards a dedicated sound card is going to be better. I've read good things about qpad Qh 90's headset as far as sound quality for music, check out bit-tech and vortex's reviews also within your budget. Most gaming headsets are not setup for music your better off with proper headphones and a good clip on mic. People on the sound's section will point you in the right direction.
