Hmmm, our mobile clients are getting an SSL error after updating to the new View Client. We have a dedicated broker for mobile clients, nothing else has changed, just the client version. The old version still works.

We've raised a call with VMware, but is anyone else seeing this?

Go in to settings on IOS and then scroll down to VMware View. You can turn off certificate checking. I would advise purchasing a 3rd party cert for you security servers or at least install the root ca on your mobile devices.

That's the thing. This is View and we run PKI on our AD domain. Valid SSL certificates are in use throughout and we have installed root certs on the devices. Even odder, turning off checking doesn't work, still get an SSL error.

This has ONLY appeared in the latest app release, if I use the old version it works fine.

Going to try installing the app on a clean device today to see if it's hanging on to invalid chains. Raised a call with VMware to find out what they changed in this app release that could cause this.

OK, it's a bug with the client.

The new mobile device client fails TLS 1.0 so if load balancers don't support TLS 2.0 it fails. New client update is being rush-released by VMware.
