Hadn't planned to take my camera but my mate said I could borrow his 70-200 f2.8 IS so I thought why not.

Thanks. It was excellent and very well attended given it was the first of such events organised in the area. The good news is they're running it next year also, although I'd like to be on a bike instead of behind the camera next year

Aye with a bit of editing they came out well. Quite pleased considering earlier that day I wasn't even planning to take my camera.

The side on shots I'd say prob 3 metres away, then the others ranged from about 5-15 metres. Had plenty of scope on the 70-200 so as long as I was fairly near I could get the shots I wanted.

They are great, really like the effect the mud drops add to them.
