I'm looking for an upgrade from my GTX 280, which has served me well for 4 years.

Do I go for one of these, or hold out for a deal on a 770?

I know they are essentially the same card, but the 770 has faster clocks all round. I want to buy a card that's going to last a few more years, as it's quite rare for me to have the money to afford one.

Thanks.

There wont be many deals on the 770's yet, this 680 deal is pretty hard to beat, great card and great price, and will be a huge upgrade over your 280

Edit: theres only 9 left as of now, be quick!

Depends if you can wait a fair while for a deal on a 770, this 680 price is crazy low!

Thanks for the advice. I take it this card can be pushed beyond the current clock speeds without too much hassle?

Fairly sure these flash to lightnings, which means you can volt the nuts off it destroying just about every 770 on the market, the obvious exception being the 770 lightning.
