Recommend me a good garage (Essex area)

I'm getting a bit fed up of the Ford repair stuff. Whenever anything goes into be fixed, it seems two weeks later something else breaks, and then the car is fixed. So either, things keep breaking one after another, or something dodgy is happening.

I've tried a couple of the Ford garages (Chelmsford and Harlow) and both have similar issues. I will go to the Chelmsford one again if needs be, but does anyone have any recommendations around the Chelmsford/Brentwood/Harlow way for a good garage?

Whats going wrong with your car and what car is it?

Mostly electrical stuff, most recent things off the top of my head:
Front headlight (twice in a few years)
Thermometer
Heating Valve (common problem, so didn't think much of it until it came back)
Brake light issues - may be brakes (although they're working, but this is what it'll need to go in for next I suspect)

Ford Ka. Was my first car, it's 06, and had only done about 16k miles when I bought it. I suspect it was sitting on a drive for some time and not well maintained (there are a number of small paint chips by all the key holes as well). In the last 18 months (when all these problems have occurred) I think I've done something between 3-5k miles (so hardly loads).

I have used Gates Ford in Harlow twice now first time to change cambelt, water pump and auxiliary drive belt and second time for a service had no problems either time.
