Silly iPhone battery problem (old and new mixed up) - PICS!

I bought a new iphone 4 battery on ebay.

I'm in the process of changing them over when I get distracted. I have now forgotten which is the old and which is the new.

They are both in the same condition so can't tell which is older. Does anyone know which of these is the original and which is the ebay one (maybe based on age, the numbers, etc)

Any help appreciated. I'm thinking the one with the heat warp is the old but that could just be shoddy manufacturing on the new!

Anyone have experience in spotting the original apple ones vs the aftermarket ones?

I'm no expert by any means but would 'guess' that the new one is on the left?

I would also say the one on the left looks newer. I thought the battery was stuck into the phone with some sticky tape, is there no residue on the old one?
