I have a 5870 vapor-x currently and thinking of upgrading to one of these. Only concern I have is will my current PSU (corsair tx650 not the v2 one) be ok to run one of these?

Have a i7950 oc'd mildly at 3.8 ghz

Card @ 1250-1650 (i have not tried anything else, i just went by what somebody got in a review and the card is running faster than their maximum) So card most likley can clock more, will try higher tomorrow.



How are results, this is pretty much card plugged into a daily run system and benchmarks run. no tweaks.

So the results are as expected from the card.

whats the max clocks a 7970 can reach, is this 280x expected to perform the same as the 7970.

Max clocks depend on the individual card really.
I expected it to be slightly faster at the same clocks tbh, but yeah, it should perform about the same.

I can't read anything on that screenshot except the main score.
Try restarting and just running heaven. I had a similar minimum and main score earlier and that sorted it out.

Is xfire not working in heaven or something?

Had to disable the integrated graphics. Many thanks snips and ethermaster for starting me in the right direction, I think they look badass (my cabling aside)
