I'm not too clued up on watercooler and have always been a little scared of it TBH
hence purchasing a pre built one. i really thought I would be silent

Since day one its has this annoying whine, its at a pitch that irritates the hell out of me
when I don't have any sound on. I use it for steaming music and movies around so don't want to turn it off if I can help it.

Is it supposed to whine?
is there anyway to stop it?
or do I need to go to air cooling?
if so what should I go for to be as silent as possible?

Im running a 3770k overclocked a little.
I never hear the case fans and only hear the corsair psu come on every now and then.

Thanks in advance

I regularly hear differing opinions about the XSPC 750. Some say the noise is awful, others claim it's silent, and others say the noise issues go away after it's 'settled in'.

Have you had a look to see if there's any air bubbles in the system?

Tilt your case from side to side and lift the front up to get any trapped air moving around, you'll know if you have some as your pump will get a lot louder for a few seconds as it pumps the air through it.
