Broadband - pay per month or short contract ?

Hi

bit out of date on this but is there a pay per month ISP or juts a 12 month ?

keep thinking the world is obsessed with 24 month contracts like the mobile phone companies

I will be at a location for a year but probably have to move after that

thinking of ADSL Broadband but also of course the tethering option on a Mobile but would feel better with ADSL if possible

big download allowance if poss

any advice or pointers are welcome

I used ADSL24 many years ago (ADSL2+) who use 1 month contracts - the support was good and speeds.

I stand corrected. He might have to pay £79 for activation if the line has been disconnected.

It might be cheaper to get line rental from BT. http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/landline/packages

£40 fee may apply.
