Spending bitcoins

imagine my shock when I logged into my bitcoin wallet to see that my $20 is now worth $270.. well, I say worth, but I suppose they are only worth that much if I can spend them!

problem is finding somewhere, or even something I actually want!

The only possible option, other than using an exchange to sell them, is Amazon.com vouchers, and see if one of my American mates wants to buy them from me, at a discount.. of course!

Wondered if anyone knew of any other places.. Im getting bored of googling!

You only have around half a coin, OP? Chinese markets are currently over $1000 per full coin.

If you think you'd rather cash it in, get selling on one of the exchanges.

I have 1/4 of a coin left. I did originally buy 1.6 btc a year or so ago when I needed to buy something.. Cost me about £20. Ive already profited a little as I had about $8 left which went to $58, so I bought something else... Now I have a bit more cash, Id rather buy something a bit more useful!
