Hi guys

Looking for some recommendation on a new build

Needing everything! no need for headset/speakers

Full tower build - Monitor 24" - Nvidia GFX 780 or ti? - Intel CPU not sure which is best bang for buck atm...- Liquid cooled CPU, corsair h100i? - Keyboard/Mouse - Windows 7 64bit

Black/Red theme throughout

The only thing picked out already is the case - BitFenix Shinobi Midi Tower USB 3.0 German Edition Windowed Case

My next question is would a H100i fit in it or if not can u recommend another case which is black.red design with a window

Cheers

EDIT - forgot to say its going to be for gamin "BF4" and college work

I'm sure the rest of the spec crew will be along shortly but I have to ask..

Why that case? If you're looking to spend as much as you are and want to watercool it, why pick a bog standard midi tower? I'd be looking at spending a bit more and getting something else.

This is what i got... can i ask why a 780/ti? I went and specced you a 290x build just in case... the red and black theme goes quite nicely with it as well...

The 290X suffer from a poor reference cooler design prone to noise and overheating. Whilst they are a very good card I'd wait until some 3rd party cooling solutions appear

If your friend is studying at a collage / university who is registered for 'microsoft dreamspark' program then he could get windows 7 / 8 for free, might be work a look then he'd have a few extra quid for the computer....

thanks

3rd part cooled are listed on OCUK now! however if you are not adverse to doing some modding yourself, you can pickup an Artic Accelero Xtreme3 for fairly cheap and an unlocked 290 and bolt them together for less than a non ref :) just saying
