I had one myself, but that was about five/six years ago. 
Main problem (apart from the obvious
), is that whenever you stick something with a bit of weight in, it felt a bit awkward as it pulls to one side.
If you just want a waterproof bag, why not something like a smaller 'The North Face' backpacks? If I hadn't of lost one of the tags, mine would look brand new, and it does take a beating.
