From last night, Brewdog Punk IPA. Someone please tell me what makes this stuff so nice..? It blew me away! I like my ales but I've not had anything on this level for a long time. It's so distinctive and flavoursome. I looked it up and it has primarily American hops - is this why it's so nice? Up until now I've not been impressed with American beers, probably because the stuff I've tried so far has been relatively mainstream and bland.

As I've been batting on for ages, America makes the best beer in the World.

It's the ingredients, you use decent, fresh ingredients and you're going to get the benefits. They don't put heaps of crap in there (and when they do they tell you!) and they use a proper amount of hops.

Welcome to the world of real beer! :)

If you like that, get some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale which you can find in the Supermarket. It's even better.
