Looked at the '3' coverage map and it doesn't look good for my area, especially my work were I stream my radio all day.

On a positive note I just did a speed check at my work today and got 2mbps! TBH I have never had a problem with GG for what I need it for which is streaming audio at work. So I am going to stick with them.

Cheers.

I have been impressed with 3 on my mifi. When my Vodafone contract is up I am moving my phone to them. We were in the middle of nowhere in Scotland and my g/f's EE phone had 0 coverage as did my Vodafone. Three had full bars and was super fast. I find that on the majority of places we go it gets better reception and speeds.

0.21 down 0.02 up tonight. Abysmal.

Terrible speed too with me at 'peak times'

08.11pm - 0.47 d/l, 1.58 u/l

06.50am - 10.14 d/l, 2.31 u/l

It seems after midnight and before 8am everything is as it used to be - excellent speeds.

Have got a number of speed tests saved via the android app as far back as 2013 and I can see how gradually the quality of speed has got worse during day time use.

Am thinking of moving to Three but recently bought a 3GB data only sim from 'the Rainforest' only to find that the speeds were as bad as GG...no sure whether Three prioritize bandwidth for contract customers but was quite disappointed
