Spec me something to kill brambles

Seriously though.. Our back garden was very neglected by previous tenants before we moved in. As a result we have a bit of a problem with well established brambles, and although they've been cut down the weeds have been left and they are now bouncing back.

They're generally along the fence line but some random ones in the middle of the "lawn".

Something that would also take care of ivy that is taking over some fence panels would be nice.

Or just dig them out?

Roundup Tree Stump Killer, Gallup 360, both take around a week to do their job.

Good time to hit the weed, now new leaf growth is starting.

And wear eye protection, gloves when using the stuff, & you hire a knapsack sprayer from some hire shops, which is the best way to apply it.
