RIP MR Hoskins:(

It strange what you remember when you hear news like this.

Shakespeare and Bob Hoskins wouldn't be most peoples first thoughts but I remember Studying Shakespeare a million years ago and seeing this performance (I read the play as well honest:o:p)

Shows what a versatile actor he was, he will be missed:(

He was amazing in Unleashed/Danny the Dog, and will always remember the old BT adverts, "it's good to talk"

One of the few "celebs"/ actor deaths that I a genuinely feel something for.

He was actually very nice IRL too. We used to have the same dentist and he was always happy to chat on the 2/3 occasions when we found ourselves in the waiting room.

I was only 15 or 16 at the time and I can't even remember what we chatted about but I always remembered walking away thinking how awesome he was.

This is very worrying for me as I am a year younger than Bob - not only Bob but a load of film and Pop stars of our age have succumed to life's frailty - I am sure Bob had a much more varied life than I have had but by good fortune I am still holding on to life -

RIP Bob and who knows we might meet up in a few years time.

Dave
