Tiny update 2..... Car purchased. Found on Autotrader and purchased from a nice family in Poole...

Grey, M-sport LCI'd 530d Touring, 92k, FSH, auto lights + wipers + steering, full nav, logic 7 sound, interior light pack and a towbar. JUST on budget.

9k in the end

. It started at 8k, and I ideally wanted to pay no more than £8500. But I couldn't find anything close to spec for that (despite a lot of trying, and viewing some lemons). The purchase already has a tow bar that would have set me back £600 to fit, and the owner wanted £9500. £9k seemed fair, pleased to have a 530d

Yeah, an early LCI. I nearly cracked and bought a £10,500 (listed at £11,600) 525d 2008 SE with 82k, full BMWsh and Comfort seats. But glad I didn't as that would have been too big a stretch at the mo.
