I am trying to do a fresh install on a friends COMPAQ presario CQ60, it has window vista with all the bloated rubbish from HP but it will not boot from the cd/dvd rom drive, i have selected boot order and enable boot from cd/dvd in bios but every time i try it boots into windows normally.
Also it gets very hot and shuts down when the power lead is plugged in ?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
