A050, not really a road tyre ;)

How on earth can it be 26 seconds faster than a Carrera GT? Frankly, I don't believe it.

Race car versus a road car.

All, I can see on it is : 'See 712 horsepower from the Honda F20C 2.2 Litre Turbo'

close enough :D

the track record is in the region of 1:30 or something similar so I can see it being plausible.

the top fuel S2000 also has mental aero which I can only assume contributes a great deal to its cornering speed.

either way, its bloody impressive for a little 4 pot sports car.

It weighs 1000kg too. but hey theres no way it can be faster than a CGT on road tyres:confused:

bhp is good but you can see that CGT has a 300hp+ advantage over a 3.2 NSX and only manages 4s quicker.
What does that car have over a CGT that makes it so fast? A big wing?
Perhaps I underestimate massively what difference a couple of wings can make. To me, 26s is an absolutely huge amount of lap time difference.

I'm confused what you are taking about as you seem to confused the NSX to a race S2000 in the video

The NSX has no wings and who knows conditions/driver etc. plus a CGT is pretty lairy and hardly know for ease to drive on limit and handling. It's probably closer to 330hp too as it's the 3.2

The S2000 is 700hp/ton and running race suspension/tyres and aero. No wonder it's so much faster.

Dude race car!
Half the weight, dog/sequential box, aero, unusable on the road. That is why it's quick! :)

I passwngered round Spa this weekend in 2:42 that was amazing. :D

That was the older aero spec, since then its been back in the wind tunnel looking for more downforce
