Broke a rear NDS spoke on my powertap training wheel tonight, stood up and started putting power down, got to 860w and heard a familiar ping. Thought it was a snapped spoke rather than a piece of gravel flying from under the tyre, went out of round confirming it.

Nearly as bad as Grudas, I've broken spokes on three rear wheels in the last 12 months.

Real pain as I don't have a spare rear wheel to train on and I don't know what to do to improve reliability of it, losing a bit of faith in my LBS, hoping they can repair it and loan me a wheel in the meantime. I don't care about the weight as it's a training tool.

In other news, I have a set of Zipp 303 full carbon tubulars in the garage waiting to be glued up! :D

Titanium Zipp skewers, Zipp valve extenders, Swiss stop yellow pads, Vittoria Corsa CX III and three tubes of Conti carbon cement are winging their way to me.

After I have glued my hands together I'll have some real bike porn going on. When they came I thought the boxes were empty they are so light!

Can I ask some advice please?

I bought a Canyon Road lite AL 6 last year for around £900 inc. Delivery from Germany. Due to an ongoing back problem (spondylosis) it looks like I'll have to give cycling up :(

I've ridden the bike less than 10 miles outside and done a few sessions on the turbo trainer inside. Still looks brand new. Never sold a bike before, can anyone advise me the best place to sell it and how much it's worth?

Thanks

How long did it take to arrive? A lot of the canyons have very long waiting times so you might be able to get a lot of your money back if someone will save a long wait by buying a slightly used bike.

Etxeondo Orhi seem to be a good deal at Merlin - haven't tried them myself but I've heard good things.

Just been pointed at them. I need to find out about sizing though.

I can help there , they are very small. I got XL in Castelli Bib shorts and I had to get XXL in those. Its around the hip joint where they are small. Really good shorts though.

If you prefer to order through wiggle they do price match it with a code.

Any questions ask away

Bike fit booked for 23rd June. Been having a few issues with my left knee and a couple of other bits when going for more than 2 hours or so. Will see what happens.

Changing both tyres tomorrow on my Claude San Remo for the first time with a set of these

Any tips as I haven't changes a tyre since my Raleigh Grifter XL (Grip shift) about 20+ years ago :)

Will make sure it's not twisted or pinched anywhere, any helpful tips would be great

Thanks :D

put a TINY bit of air in the tube so it's easier to install..
