Will this ram fit in my motherboard?

Im going to upgrade from 8gb to 16gb ram, (ddr4 will cost too much with the upgrades needed, so sticking with ddr3 as it does just fine)

I have:

Z77-D3H Mobo

And I'm going for:

Are you adding the ram to what you already have, or replacing it? What ram do you have at the moment? You can probably get the specific dimensions of both for comparison.

Replacing it, currently have kingston hyper x GENESIS 8gb, which looking at it there is a hyper x 16gb, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-133-KS if this 2x8gb is the same size as the 2x4gb (which i have) in theory is should be fine. But thats the problem, cant find the size.

According to Kingston, the one you have is 30mm high, that may be without the heatspreader, so say another 2mm, the Predator is much taller, the 8gb x2 Hyper X Genesis is the same size as the 4gb x2: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-149-KS

This also appears to be the same size, but I can't find it on the Kingston website so I can't check the dimensions: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-182-KS

If your motherboard has 4 ram slots and you are only using 2 and you can get to the other 2, you could just get another kit the same as what you have, another 2x4gb to total 16gb, that'd be cheaper.

The TG is low profile , if your replacing it should be a straight swap.

What cooler do you have installed ?

The TeamGroup Vulcan is 31mm high, so pretty much exactly the same size as what you have now, and it should fit in your motherboard slot, like any other DDR3 DIMM with 240 pins, you probably just need to OC it to get the full ram speed.
