Spec check - photo processing machine

Hi all, I've read through a few 'spec me' threads and I've come up with what's below. I already have a GPU (MSI HD 7850 Twin Frozr III OC 2048MB GDDR5) which I might upgrade at a later date.

The main thing I want aside from gaming is a fast machine for processing photos in Adobe Lightroom with a large catalog hence the 16GB RAM despite 8GB normally being recommended.

Any thoughts or advice welcomed as I'm soo out of touch!

Thanks Shivy, I'm just being cheap and will carry over a couple of older large drives for now.

Right, they are SATA right, not IDE? (PATA)

Yep, I'm currently on a 2008 build with a Core 2 E8400. Old, but not that old!
