Any body rocking 970 sli?

Would like to know what model you have and GPU temps under load and idle if possible.

It'll be the same story as always. If you're going with more than one card you want blower coolers.

Feed them with air and they'll dump all the waste heat out the back.

Pair of standard Galax blowers.

The EK 670/760 blocks have been confirmed to fit the following for reference:

EVGA EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 (04G-P4-1970)
EVGA EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SuperClocked 4GB GDDR5 (04G-P4-1972)
Galax Galax GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 (97NPH6DT6XTZ)
Inno3D Inno3D GeForce GTX 970 HerculeZ X2 4GB GDDR5 (N97V-1SDN-M5DSX)
Zotac Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 (ZT-90101-10P)

Other's may be compatible like the Palit blowers, but not confirmed yet.

EVGA 970 SC SLI... just gave them a workout...
Load: GPU1 50-60 degrees GPU2 70-80 degrees
Idle: GPU1 40 degrees GPU2 50 degrees (and falling (sorry just cooling down))

Room temp is 27 degrees (I have the heating on).

Hoping to order a pair tonight. On air, which would you guys recommend? I was going to spend a bit more and get the MSI cards but would I be better with reference ones that blow air straight out? Or perhaps a combination of both types? I don't mind spending the extra.

Best to go with reference blower cards in sli. With non ref types the hot air gets trapped between them leading to much higher temps on the top card. And as the heat is dumped into the case other components heat up more to.

I wouldn't mix & match, just go with one or the other.

Excellent, just ordered two GALAX cards. Was going to order a 295X2 and a new PSU last week. So glad I waited!

BTW, thanks for the help guys. This is without a doubt the most helpful and friendly forum I've ever used :)
