Steam Response Times?

I forgot my Steam password so I requested the usual mail to be sent to my email-address/login-name.

Still no response after over 6 hours. Has anyone had experience with how long they might take for such a request? I would have thought it would be automated and immediate.

I can always send another request, but I've found in the past that response overlaps can confuse the issue.

been waiting 20hrs so far! email I tried twice via steam itself got nowt so raised a ticket at 8.21pm last night, not been picked up yet!!!

new pc and want some games grrrrr

You should probably state the name of your email provider.

I get the email when I raised a ticket, my email is BT. They are pants for support, always have been in my experience and thats from day 1 back yonder

bought BF4 now as needed something to play so will use origin for the time being lol
