There's been a supposed plot leak reported by The Guardian. Some guy apparently dumped insider information which falls in line with the artwork and teaser we saw.

Obvious spoilers (if true) so don't look if you don't want to know the general plot and character roles: http://www.theguardian.com/film/201...ns-4chan-plot-leak-lucasfilm-jj-abrams-disney

Personally I find it impossible to stay away from reading it. If it's true it sounds amazing, like he's nailed it completely. I can't wait. :D

I love being in my 40`s and feeling the feeling of being 7 again from a mere movie trailer.

Bring it on and bring it on quickly.

(anyone else`s hairs at the back of the next stand on end, when the music kicked in ? )

Totally spot on with everything :D

Was TRYING to tell myself not to get over-excited, but the music and MF and Tie-Fighters - Fabulous (had a stupid grin on my face all week now, and still a year to go)

If those leaks are true I've gone from thinking it will be guff to really hyped, if true that is a very good and interesting direction to take things in!

On the negative side now I'm excited and have a year to wait!!! :(

I resisted reading that for all of 30 seconds, sounds awesome.

Part of me wishes that Darth Revan's mask was used but it would probably alienate those who haven't played the KOTOR games.

Remember MVS's character is said to be a shock to viewers. It can only be:
Boba Fett. It's on Tattoine, he had connections to both Jedi and Sith and he somehow escaped from the sarlacc pit which is bound to have hurt him to no end (apparently he's a broken man)
As for Revan, personally I hope he's not included in the movies. I really hope the design just looks similar because crossing over with what a videogame company wrote/designed, doesn't sit well with me. I love the character in KotR, but please stay away from the movies.

I'm interested in trying to figure out Andy Serkis's character. It reads that he's a certain someone:
Apparently the alien he plays lives for a very long time and has some connection with Palpatine to the point where he "uses" Palp for something. So it begs the question, if Palp was hell bent on being number one, why would he have connections to another powerful Sith, and even cooperate with him? Surely he'd want to kill it. If this new Sith doesn't go by the rule of 2, Palp certainly did.

Either they had connections in the past when Palp was still an apprentice. OR he BELIEVES he killed it. And who did he kill? Darth Plagueis.

Think about it. Plagueis trained Palp and helped engineer his take over of the republic behind the scenes. Plagueis was supposed to have insight into the darkside that went beyond what even Palp knew. So can you believe that he'd allow his apprentice, who he knew inside out, to kill him in his sleep?

It's been sometime since I read the Darth Plagueis book but I'm sure there's reference to the Death Star being planned with Plagueis (I need to confirm that.) Perhaps Plagueis knew Palp would become Emperor and very powerful so planned his own death as a means to step aside and let his apprentice do the work (he knew Palp, as an aged human, would only live for a limited time) and he planted the seeds of the Death Star into his schemes. This connects to the new super weapon being built by the rebels.

I know the spoilerguy said it wasn't Plagueis, but honestly who else could it be? Are they just going to invent a character? If all these leaked reports are somewhat true then I think it's more likely to be Plagueis than them inventing a character who supposedly had leverage with the Emperor.

it does say
Max Von Sydow’s character is not Boba Fett, Darth Maul, or Mace Windu.

True. I just can't see any other character fitting the profile though. He's not force sensitive but has connections to both Jedi and Sith and be famous enough to make it a "shock" to most fans. He also said that Serkis wasn't Plagueis despite the connections. I think it's clear that this info isn't going to be 100% accurate. It's doubtful that anyone outside the tight-knit JJ Abrams circle would know it all.

It's fun to speculate though :D

That description has put in mind one person form the EU novels that's not a Sith or Jedi but a certain Grand Admiral... mit"TH'RAW'N"uruodo! Which would go with previous rumors I've heard concerning his involvement. & If this is the case I guess Max Von Sydow will be his right Hand Pellaeon!

Andy Serkis reportedly has two roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

According to website Jedi News, the 50-year-old actor has filmed two parts for the sci-fi blockbuster, one as a motion capture character - the genre which he specialises in - and one traditional live action role.

In his motion capture role, Serkis will lead a 'group of unbelievably athletic and acrobatic characters' which also includes actress Crystal Clarke and parkour expert Pip Anderson.

Please be Thrawn! Would love to see how he is portrayed :)
