Those triple XML jobs from China must have dropped in price by now?

Actually I've always preferred flood over distance, the reflector is smaller and you are not burning your eyeballs looking at a bright spot on the ground, which you then can't see anyway because it is just a pure white spot of light.

I am trying to get a good mix, like when I put the P7 on the non zoom it is nice flooded bright light but it doesn't light up enough of the distance.

I just moved house and walk my dog in the pitch black in the middle of nowhere, and he is a whippet, and he finds rabbits :p So he likes to bolt away into the distance, so flood of light I get now but a much further distance of said flooded light would be outstanding. Although the P7 is "fine", I am a man, I want a manly man torch ARGH!

Yeah I can't be doing with all these tiny torches, I like a good old manly torch too. Like the EA41 is still a tad small for my liking. But the large torches are rather pricey, including the EA41 for what it is, as it took me quite a few months to press the "buy button". Anyway Im sure the size of the EA41 will be will be fine for me, as its quite a chunky light with a ok size reflector and hopefully it will last me a fair few years..

The bigger the mah the longer the charge. :D

Try here: http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/batteries/lithium-rechargeable-batteries.html

I got the Eagletac, no problems so far.

You may also need a charger: http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/batteries/li-ion-chargers.html

Also, check out the lovely accessories for your torch here: http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/solarforce.html

Just recieved my Fenix PD35 and my Eagletac 18650, only it's a Nitecore battery instead (same mAH). Is it worth grumbling about or have I got a better battery? The Nitecore is £5 more than the Eagletac and it's from Flashaholics so shouldn't be a fake one.

My Thrunite TN36 just turned up and at 6510lm it's twice as bright as anything I've owned before.

Feels good in the hand and the UI suits me.

If I feel the need that my Nitecore EA41 torch isn't enough or get obsessed with torches, I think the Nitecore Tiny Monster TM26 looks like a good upgrade and it looks like a much more manly torch then the EA41:D.........
