I got my desk from pirahna, check them out, some humongous corner desks there and my imagination didnt do its siize justice. Once it arrived I could barely carry it up the stairs X'D
I second getting a big slab of kitchen worktop or even timber and have a carpenter fit it for a few quid. You'll get something that will work best in the space you have and exactly fit your needs rather than buying a preset size.
Alternatively the Ikea configurable stuff is pretty good, you can buy a few tops and they should all fit together nicely in whatever space you have. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/departments/workspaces/10712/
it will probably be more expensive and less sturdy than a big wack of timber however
If you run a search you'll see a bunch of people (me included) have made desks from solid wood kitchen worktops and stuck some legs on. Dead easy to do.
