Been thinking this for the last couple of months (gen 1...), I don't want to go through the hassle of flashing custom roms It's been nearly 6 months since lollipop was introduced and that's ages compared with the last update.

I'm starting to get to the stage where I'm thinking they're holding off until 5.1, that's not exactly far off either lol

Been running Lollipop on my 1st gen for ages now, why don't you guys just convert to GPE and get Lollipop goodness? it completely changes the phone.

What does going GPE actually mean for the phone? Things like the dialer etc different?

No as the Dialer is stock anyway.

The only advantage is that you get updates quicker.
