Hi
I have a pair of Corsair DDR3, 1866MHz 16GB 2x240 Dimm, Unbuffered, 9-10-9-27, Vengeance Pro, should they be suitable for an Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 Motherboard, installing the memory gives be pre-post bleeps 1 long 2 short this indicates by the manual memory not detected, the next step is to push the memory button on the board which puts it through various memory settings this also fails, has anyone got this combination of memory and motherboard.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Sabertooth Mk1 supports DDR3 1866MHz, so those modules are the right speed.

I personally don't own this board so I can't comment on it, but I would have thought that the RAM should work even.

Make sure it's seated correctly and try one strip of memory at a time. It may be a RAM fault/compatibility issue or it could be a motherboard issue that's causing the pre-post bleeps.
