Is paying off a sky bill on a credit card considered a cash advance or a purchase? Tried looking online but can't find any definitive answer.

I doubt it. Isn't it just like buying something on the card? A cash advance is when you take money from a cashpoint with it (for example).

Definite purchase. Cash advance is when you use your card to withdraw cash at a cashpoint or to buy foreign cash.
