On the road....
I don't see why its such a issue, people on here seem to give kids a lot of stick if they have rich parents that buy them nice cars.

When I was 17 my parents spent £4k on a car for me which to them was a lot of money at the time. If his parents make say £300k pa and spent £25k on a car its not really that different.

If my dad was rich at the time he would have bought me a £10k car.

I guess it's down to how they go about saying they got the car maybe? Ignoring Elliot, it depends a lot on other factors imo.

I know of somebody who was bought a 330i (e46) brand new as his first car, his parents were well off but hardly super rich by some standards, we pulled his leg (me and my mates rather than a forum collective) but, he went on to become successful in his field (Law) he worked to where he is now, went to a state school and got the 330 as reward for his university grades, good luck to him!

Fast forward 15 or so years and he now drives an f10 M5 along with a collection of classic RS Fords, he pays for both his parents who now are in care.

Look after your kids, they choose your care home!

Ah right, fair enough. Did you choose the X6 yourself? Why didn't you go for something a bit more interesting with that budget? Unless the X6 is your type of thing!

Just wanted something with a higher driving position, that's BMW and that can move to be honest. I really like the X6, probably the only person that think's it looks good. Of course I did consider other options such as an M3, CLA 45 AMG etc, but It just came down to preference.

Edit: I'm far far from rich, over and out.

First car in 2007- Nissan Almera 1.4. It was completely reliable and had an electric sun roof! Nice colour.

Thankfully now you've had an insight, you understand my comments and no longer think I am a c*ck :D

I don't have an issue, I agree it's how you come across about it, if you try and be a snob then you deserve stick. I was simply curious at how he had managed to get the cars he has, at 25 year old when even his first car was not really something average for an older person.

I was looked after well by my parents, nothing to the extremes of Elliott ;) but they got me things I wanted when I was a kid, IE new bike, playstation etc. I was never bought a car though. I've worked from the day I left school and at 23 year old I now own a 4 bedroom house (obviously mortgaged but live alone) and a MK6 Golf GTD pure and simply because I have worked hard to get here. I do not think I am any better than anyone else who has not got what I have. If you are 38, live at home and drive a rusty old for KA I don't see myself as someone to look down on you. It's all about attitude and not bragging unless it's the right moment.

We know, it's your parents.

I could say things here because you own a MR2, but you own an Evo so that makes up for things... :D

I've probably missed some cars out as well.
