I have just installed a motherboard and trying to connect the case connectors for front audio to it but am confused about the connections.

My motherboard is GA-H55-UD3H rev 1.0

Info from manual says...

The front panel audio header supports Intel High Definition audio (HD) and AC'97 audio. You may connect your chassis front panel audio module to this header. Make sure the wire assignments of the module connector
match the pin assignments of the motherboard header. Incorrect connection between the module connector and the motherboard header will make the device unable to work or even damage it.

For HD Front Panel Audio:_______For AC'97 Front Panel Audio:

Pin No....Definition____________Pin No. Definition

1_______MIC2_L......................1_______MIC
2_______GND..........................2_______GND
3_______MIC2_R.....................3_______MIC Power
4_______-ACZ_DET..................4_______NC
5_______LINE2_R....................5_______Line Out (R)
6_______GND..........................6_______NC
7_______FAUDIO_JD................7_______NC
8_______No Pin.......................8_______No Pin
9_______LINE2_L.....................9_______Line Out (L)
10______GND..........................10______NC

I have the following connectors on my case...

R - IN
R - OUT
L - IN
L - OUT
GND
MIC - IN
MIC - BIAS

Can someone please help me out with which connectors I need to use as they are labelled a little different?

Thanks for that info. Trust mine to be different and not be, they are all single connectors.

Thanks for the reply. The pin numbers are not quite the problem it's the naming of the connectors on my case. The case is an old one an Xblade.
