Even if everyone in Scotland voted labour how would that help Scotland doesn't matter

Because the Conservative tactic of telling everyone in England that you would get the SNP dictating policy, would not have worked.

It was the main tactic they were using.

Maybe it was Nicola's fault though, for making it such a big deal.

Their primary goal is independence. And a Tory minority government, or Tory+ government, would fit with that nicely. The Tories won't mind doing English votes for English laws and Scottish votes for English laws, or similar, because it'll further damage Labour's chances and will benefit the Tories long term... and that leads to Scotch rule for the Scotch, so they'd be happy as well.

I did mention earlier this may have been Nicola's plan all along. But it is very cynical. I just think it has all backfired.
