I'm finally getting the hang of the FWD 60s cars, just in time to... Move on to the RWD 70s :(.

I get the feeling I'm going to be pointing the wrong way a lot.

Is that your RenaultSport Clio in the sig Skeeter? I had a 172 ph2 lots of fun :D a friend had one and Turbo'd it, was mental to say the least.

It is. Ph2 172. No engine mods beyond a better filter and remap, but plenty of suspension and brake improvements which make it brilliant fun on track. Its been neglected a bit recently, I need to get it back on a track.

What cars can you drive on the early access version?

In age order:

Lancia Fulva
Mini Cooper
Fiat something
Mk2 Escort
Lancia Stratos
BMW 3 Series
Ford Sierra
6R4
Audi Quattro
RS200
206 T16
Delta S4
Ford Escort
Subaru Impreza
Lancia Delta Integrale
Mini Cooper WRC
Ford Fiesta WRC

I think that's all?

Hill Climb pack due soon which will bring a selection of dirt and tarmac rally cars from Pikes Peak. I'm hoping for a 405 T16 and Audi Quattro S1, and then something from the recent mental winged monsters.

not what the tooltip says?

I believe they are for games which are not sending those forces from the cars wheels e.g. no self aligning torque. The Dirt Rally FFB atm is for pads. This explains why the devs have them enabled in their recommended settings for this game and why players using wheels which don't fake them say the game needs the FFB reworking.

I don't know but the tooltip is pretty clear and specifically mentions "forces generated by force feedback games"

same for the dampening slider

I always assumed they were for if your getting clipping
Pretty sure the centering spring strength is the only setting that adds any forces to the wheel in non ffb games

I'm now show as 34 in the league but i can't do any races, it just says 'OcUK League 1'. I don't know if there is anything set up at the moment, haven't managed to play in a while.

Can almost afford my 205 though. I'm starting to come first in a few events and some nice pay outs :D
