Hi everyone, I am not sure which of these Laptops to buy. Which one is better overall?

http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=J2E80EA&opt=ABU&sel=PCNB or

?

Or maybe even
http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-15-5548-laptop/pd?oc=cn54812&model_id=inspiron-15-5548-laptop.

I know they are not the best Lappies ever, but for 500 bucks they are I think ok. (Btw. if there are betters pls say).

Its btw. not just about the specs. Buildquality etc is also of course considered. Would like to hear your oppinions.

Cheers.

Thanks for the replay. Good to know. It should be noted that its 150 pounds cheaper, so thats something to consider.
So if I may ask, is your advice taking that into account? Dont want to be the guy who asks and then does not care but just wanted to clarify.

cant speak for the hp, but i own the same dell model (15), build quality is decent, performance is good and battery life is very good, overall not a bad laptop, just be aware the screen is pretty terrible, but thats a problem shared by many lower end laptops

Thanks for the replay.

I am realistic about the fact that I am buying a mdidum to lower medium laptop. Its just I want the best bang for my buck :) (dont we all :D)

I understand that I am at overlockers :) so a site that appreciates propper hardware. I do too generaly. But my laptop use is not as a desktop replacement. I only want something for when I am traveling a week or so every now and them. I have a nice gaming desktop that I use for everyday things.

Anyways, I appreciate the advise.

Cheers.

I personally wouldn't want to lug a 15 or 17 inch laptop around these days, have a look at the acer v3-371 13" or lenovo flex 2 14" both have nice full 1080 screens ample storage, ram and intel cpu's so battery will be better.
