About a year ago I bought the GIGABYTE P35W v2-CF2 UltraForce Gamer from Overclockers. For the purpose of gaming while traveling. First time I get a chance to do this, the Black Screen of Death strikes.
I get past the login screen, but then the desktop doesn't load. I do get a mouse, but nothing else. I can bring up task bar and navigate around using that.
I can also boot into Safe Mode. That works fine. The only way I can load the desktop without safe mode is disabling the the graphics drivers.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M.
It doesn't matter if I disable one or the other, they both have to be disabled otherwise the desktop won't load.
