It is very reassuring having someone use the same drawing with success and also having the same issues as well.
I am having the starter ring issue and wondering why it was not addressed in the drawing. Easy fix anyway
That flywheel would have been very heavy.
Your solution is smart. did you have it balanced?
I had a race shop thin down the original drawing, ended up at 10.5kg

Yeah the weight of that original flywheel was one of the reasons I changed my mind, that and cost. The way I did it in the end was half the cost. I had the adapter hub and flywheel balanced as one unit.

do you remember what size flywheel bearing you ended up using? oe 4m41 unit seems to be too small in width and height...
