Asus Xonar D1 and Windows 10

Hi - for some reason I can't get the Asus Audio Centre app to work on Windows 10. It doesn't look like there are any updates on the Asus site and trying things like compatability mode don't seem to work either.

Could any one let me know if there is a way to get this working again? Cheers!

They are better than the official ones anyway.

8.1 should work with win 10

my essence one muses just worked straight off the bat. but then it is usb so probably easier.

Probably is because it is USB. Seen a few reports online of Asus cards having stopped working with Win10.

yeah some 8.1 drivers worked in 10 preview some didn't Asus are useless at updating drivers I'll ask them tomorrow when they are in.

The latest 8.1 driver for the D1 is 8.1.8.1822 beta from february 2014

not anymore took till april this year for some asus network cards to work with win 8.1.......

That's just bad. I didn't have any trouble with the STX when playing the OS shuffle between 8, 8 and 8.1, they were fairly quick to bring new drivers, well for them anyway.

+1. The DX drivers was the only one 10 didn't find automatically. I prefer using these unified drivers anyway, I had a few niggles with the stock Asus ones.

Shame there are no Uni drivers for the USB Xonar's. Would suck bad to get an issue with Asus' with nowhere else to turn.

Indeed... it looks like I'm finally (after about 8 years of use) having to ditch my beloved XFi Fatal1ty PCI card

Hi Twst, I have an Asus Essence ST (regular PCI version), could you ask Asus if they will create Windows 10 drivers?

Installed these on my W10 that I reformatted yesterday. After installing the drivers, it booted to a black screen with just a mouse, but after forcing a hard-reset it seems to be working ok.
