Auto upgrade

I have a Surface Pro 3 and it hasn't been auto-upgraded yet, when do the auto upgrades start?

They started on the 29th of last month.

Is the device fully updated and you have the Windows logo saying you're reserved and waiting?

Just manually kick off the upgrade with the media creator.

Is it best to do a clean install? Do I gain/loose anything?

You can only do a clean install once you have been through the upgrade process. For a clean install without the upgrade first you need to buy Win 10
