Little lad is on a site that does riddles and he has asked for our help with this one - we can't answer it and it is now doing my head in - anyone got an answer?

There are two letters, inside my head.
They are in that sentence, and can form a bed.
Maybe it's best if you use your head.
You'll need to separate them, with a flicking spot,
And maybe you'll need to end with a dot.

Answer his riddle and the ways to write it gives you a spot in the raffle ^_^
Hint; would it be best to not use punctuation? Maybe not.

Our best guess so far has been eyes/i's ie i,i. but that doesn't work :(

nope no idea - i've been trying to arrange h and d from 'head' so that it looks like a bed but it doesn't look good.
not sure what it means by a flicking spot either - a ' or , or - ?
