Yes you do, what charger has an off button, in fact how many things have an off button. A few things have a standby button, this doesn't switch leds off most of the time. On top of that people generally use overnight to charge things.

Things I charge overnight. iPhone (no LED on charger)

Things that 'sleep' overnight. PC (no LED on), Tivo (no LED on), Laptop (no LED to be off!)

Things I switch off at night. TV (on unit, no LED on), AMP (on unit, no LED on)

Whilst I'm not in a house share there is very little equipment that is either festooned with LED lights or keeps them on when in standby. I have to say though I refuse to have any electrical equipment presently stationed in the bedroom aside from an alarm clock. I like undisturbed sleep!

Hey I don't use one! :p

Going way back when the P4 3.0ghz was king my PC had a windowed side, full of cold cathode tubes, blue LED akasa fans, etc etc...my PC was GLOWING

I still slept with it on, man up :p

LOL, it doesn't get cooler than blue LEDs bro..

Talking of P4 I only recently upgraded mine in the spare PC to a higher clocked one ;) Does the job!
