Network Adaptor Dead on Start Up

Not sure if this is my hardware starting to get a bit long in the tooth or is a W10 issue, but every time I start up my computer now since upgrading to W10, the network adaptor is dead.

It comes back to life on a restart, but that takes a heck of a long time to do to.

I did see a thread about people having the same issues but on W7 and have tried the fix they suggested, but has not made any difference.

Anyone any ideas as to what is occurring and how to resolve it?

Had the same thing happen three times so far but haven't found a solution yet. Feel sorry for the non techie people that'll be upgrading to this unfinished mess.

same wireless problem with my build, but fortunately I use hardwired and is not too bad an issue for me.

My Bluetooth adapter (netbook) adapter has "disappeared"! With win 10 install

had similar problem after upgrading to 10 from 8.1 only way I could sort it was by reformatting and reinstalling 8.1 then upgrading to 10, this was with ethernet connection

Is ethernet connection here for me.......

Not wanting to do a fresh install but if that is the only way to get round it then guess I may have to bite the bullet and crack on......time to dig out my discs.....

Try..

elevated CMD prompt (run as administrator)

sfc /scannow

If that doesn't work, try a newer network card driver.

I had no ethenet connection.driver error.after trying everything I reset cmos.it worked for me..

Any power-saving options switched on for Ethernet particularly in the BIOS? It could be effected by Windows' semi-hibernation for fast boot.

Have you turn on the 'High Performance' power setting?

Also, have you installed the latest drivers for the NIC card? Do you know exactly what it is at all?

I had this issue with a USB Wireless TP-Link, though seems there must have been an update recently as all seems ok.
