New camera is now here. Will be keeping an eye out for either a phase one P45+, P65+ or leaf aptus-II digital back for it now. Should give the D810 a good run for it's money for landscapes and portraiture.

Lovely.... :D

I'd so like to pick up a Contax 645 then add a digital back.... it's all still so expensive even as old used kit !!! (well it is on fleabay) .... Oh add a Coolscan 9000..

After my Canon 7D died during an incident whilst moving house, I decided to see if the grass is greener on the other side and have just bought the following after spending some time using my mates identical camera -

Nikon D7100
Nikon 35mm F1.8G
Nikon 50mm F1.8G
Tamron 70-200mm F2.8
Bag/battery/remote etc

I only had a 50mm F1.4 Canon lens to go with the 7D so it wasn't an issue swapping to Nikon, especially as I wasn't using the 7D for it's intended use anymore and I managed to get everything except the Tamron for the same price as a new 7D body.

Also, we use Nikon at work so there's always a few lenses to "test" :D

Everything should be here at the end of next week so I'll stick up a pic then!

Found my 5D2 and 7D with matching Sigma 70-200's (and 1.4TC) was getting a bit limited for track side photos...

So a new 5D3 with Canon 100-400 II is on its way. My first white lens!

How's the 18-105mm lens for the a6000? I am thinking of getting it for my camera

i do like the lens. it just feels like a great fit for the a6000.

just wish it was capable of full format. was hoping to stick to just lensēs that were fully usable on both, but struggle to let this one go.

there is a lot of distortion to watch out for at 105 though.
